Your role at St John of God Social Outreach
We are looking to recruit a Team Leader to support our Medicare Mental Health services at Armadale WA, on a permanent full-time basis.
Armadale - 1.0 FTE - Rostered day and afternoon shifts including weekends. 10-day fortnight.
Our teams provide a safe and welcoming spaces for locals to walk in and access free mental health support and services - no referral, Medicare card or appointment needed. Staffed by qualified mental health professionals and people with lived experience, the centres provide immediate support to adults in distress, including their families, friends and carers.
The Position- Ensure prioritisation and delegation of duties of caregiver caseloads for self and supervised caregivers.- Promote professional values and ethics in clinical practice.- Demonstrates consolidated, current knowledge of research, evidence-based practice in service mental health programs and related clinical areas.- Provides clinical leadership, support and guidance to the Medicare Mental Health Centres team, including clinical risk management.- Provides mental health services to client groups and circumstances of a complex nature requiring advanced practice skills e.g. complex trauma.- Lead initiatives to improve the safety and quality of consumer care.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced mental health professional with a relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or Nursing, along with current registration with AHPRA or membership with the appropriate professional association.
Successful applicants must hold a current Working with Children Certificate and National Police Clearance.

We can offer:
- Salary: $132,322 to $141,104 dependant on experience and qualification, plus 12% superannuation- Permanent full-time | Armadale- Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:
