The Jamie Larcombe Centre (JLC) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in supporting the mental health needs of our esteemed veteran community.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager and principal social worker, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive psychosocial support and counselling services to veterans and their families.

Duties for the role may include:

- Conducting assessment & developing and implementing treatment plans.
- Facilitating therapeutic interventions, and advocating for the unique needs of our veteran clients.
- Liaising closely with a network of key stakeholders, these may include - aged and community mental health services and other government and non-government organisations.
- Participating in regular professional social work supervision with the SALHN Mental Health Services Principal Social Worker.

**About you**:

- Experience working with people who have a mental illness, their families and/or carers, in particular veterans.
- Knowledge of Practice Standards for Mental Health Social Workers.
- Relevant Social Work qualifications
