**The opportunity**

Coregas has a full-time opportunity for a Regional Manager VIC/TAS to join our organisation, based in our Thomastown VIC facility. This role will report into the General Manager Australia - Coregas, and be responsible for ensuring that the Coregas region safely and efficiently services its customers and meets the agreed financial targets.

As the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Financial performance and sales growth of your region through driving financial targets, developing growth strategies and through relationship management with key customers, suppliers and developing new partner relationships and business opportunities
- Drive a high level of operational excellence through running LEAN operations in branch operations and commercial processes and managing the regional P&L to maintain and control efficiencies
- Seek opportunities and implement best practice in partnership with the Head of Operations for operational quality, efficiency and safety matters
- Provide DIFOTIC in-spec to Coregas customers (delivery in full, on time, invoice complete)
- Oversee the safe, regulated and efficient operation and maintenance of all equipment, fleet, plant and other operational infrastructure
- Provide strong leadership to team members for cultural alignment with Coregas values and develop people engagement across all safety, quality and environmental matters
- Provide effective people management including recruitment, training, career development, PDPs, industrial and employee relations and productivity
- Work collaboratively with Technical Services for the supply, design and specification of new plant, equipment and materials as required for operations within the Locations
- Provide ongoing reviews and positive due diligence, including safety interactions, of safety systems results and performance to ensure achievement of strategic safety targets
- Engage in Incident investigations and Actions to improve Coregas' risk management
- Collaborate and consult with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure productive relationships for the collective achievement of strategic goals

**What you'll offer us**

We're looking for an innovative and experienced people leader with exceptional interpersonal skills that is able to successfully develop and maintain relationships. You will have gained 10+ years experience and developed your operational knowledge within the industrial gas industry. In addition, you will have completed relevant tertiary qualifications within an Engineering field, with post-graduate qualifications highly desirable. You will be experienced across operational and supply chain management, as well as have a successful track record in leading sales and marketing functions to maximise revenue growth.
