**About the role**:
As Integration Tech Lead, you will have superior skills in designing complex innovative platforms and solutions in using Integration best practices and principles.

In addition to mentoring and coaching Software Engineers and Platform Engineers, you will be fundamental in driving the technical vision for complex programs of work and platform architecture, and are accountable for ensuring Platform roadmaps are in place and on track for delivery.

The integration team is the engine room for technology in Suncorp and has a large pipeline of exciting and challenging work for you.

This is an ideal role for a Technical Business Analyst who has worked with integration to step into a Tech Lead position.

**What you’ll do**:

- Set coding standards and encourage the development teams to follow best practices and minimize technical debt, including considerations for OWASP Top 10 and other secure coding principles
- Contribute to architectural and solution design decisions, working closely with architects, analysts, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to propose and implement best practice technical solutions
- Continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipeline, driving automation to reduce cycle time and increase the quality of software delivery across our various tech stacks.
- Take a hands-on approach in implementing Proof of Concept (POCs) and trialling new and emerging integration technologies
- Contribute and assist the team lead towards development of the backlogs, producing delivery plans as part of backlog of various initiatives
- Help create an innovative, creative, and fun team culture, capable of developing advanced technologies.

**What you’ll bring**:

- At least 10 years appropriate industry experience in large enterprise organisation with extensive experience developing, owning, and delivering technical roadmaps or working as a Technical Business Analyst
- Experience with on-prem and cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) and deployments, migrations, network, and security frameworks.
- Exposure to defining and managing an integration design practice including integration patterns, register, and system integration landscape diagrams.
- Experience in working on Integration Platforms like IBM ACE/MQ, Mulesoft, Pentaho etc
- Experience with Dev Ops and CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of multi-tenancy architectures
- Strong knowledge of system testing, and software quality assurance practices and methodologies as applied to integrated solutions.
