Hays Technology are currently partnered with a valued client in the Financial Industry to appoint an experienced Integration Tech Lead to a permanent opportunity

**Your new role**

As the Integration Tech Lead, you champion industry best practice, solutions and technologies, and have superior skills in designing complex innovative platforms and solutions in using Integration Best practices and principles. You drive the technical vision for complex programs of work and platform architecture, and are accountable for ensuring Platform roadmaps are in place and on track for delivery. You proactively share knowledge, mentoring and coaching Software Engineers and Platform Engineers to improve effectiveness and quality. You use your technical leadership and influence to drive team performance, bringing new techniques and ways of working to the team where needed. You have a bias to action and work closely with teams across the domain to deliver, maintain, and improve Integration Platforms.

In extension to this, day-to-day responsibilities will also include:

- As an Integration technical leader, you'll set coding standards and encourage the development teams to follow best practices and minimise technical debt, including considerations for OWASP Top 10 and other secure coding principles
- You will have extensive experience developing, owning, and delivering technical roadmaps. You will know how to engage other teams and drive delivery using hybrid delivery model.
- You'll also contribute to architectural and solution design decisions, working closely with architects, analysts, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to propose and implement best practice technical solutions
- Continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipeline is crucial, and you'll be driving automation to reduce cycle time and increase the quality of software delivery across our various tech stacks. You'll also take a hands-on approach in implementing Proof of Concept (POCs) and trialling new and emerging integration technologies
- In addition to your Integration technical expertise, you'll also liaise with architects, analysts, and developers to ensure that all deliverables are supported by the correct architectural implementation.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this position, you will have:

- Extensive industry experience as a Technical Lead in large enterprise organisation
- In-depth experience with Planning, designing, and deploying On prem and cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) and deployments, migrations, network, and security frameworks.
- Experience defining and managing an integration design practice including integration patterns, register, and system integration landscape diagrams.
- Expertise in deriving solutions that use REST/JSON, SOAP/XML, Java.
