**About the role**
This role provides end to end organisational capability strategy, design, and delivery to support the delivery of the Sportsbet strategy. Reporting into the Head of OD, you will work closely with the business and HRBP’s to understand the capability needs of Sportsbet and play a key thought leadership and influencing role to drive strategic capability agendas, as well as execution of plans. This role also has a people leadership element with one direct report (OD Program Coordinator).
Key responsibilities include:
- Recommending solutions to continuously progress the strategic capability agenda
- Engage with relevant industry bodies to stay connected, spot opportunities for Sportsbet and stay progressive with capability building thinking and solutions
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop capability development approaches that support delivery of the Sportsbet business strategy (both short-term and long-term strategic capability needs
- Embed a culture of development at Sportsbet through moments that matter and individual development planning
- Identify creative ways to drive development at Sportsbet through non-traditional mechanisms including networking; community-based programs; internal events (eg. dev fest) etc.
- Manage core compliance training in partnership with business SME as required
- Determine the best fit for purpose use of existing LMS and contribute towards future needs and assessment
**About You**
We’re looking for someone with:
- Previous experience in either an OD and/or generalist HR role
- Exposure to managing and delivering multiple and varied learning programs
- Demonstrated ability to design, plan and deliver innovative development experiences
- Facilitation skills (face to face and virtual) and the ability to think conceptually to convert clear and actionable deliverables
- Uses data and insight (internal and external) to inform solutions and recommendations
