**Description**:
Reporting to the General Manger of Trains and Systems, you will be responsible for delivering the signalling system for the SMCSW Project. This includes verification and validating that the contractor's design, build, and testing of the signalling system complies with all applicable Operations & Maintenance and legal requirements, international standards, and project specifications.
**Skills and Experiences**:
**To be successful in this role you will need to have**:
- Recognised Bachelor’s degree in a engineering related field
- 10+ years previous experience of managing the design, commissioning and handover process of significant railway signalling projects
- Proven experience managing teams for the delivery phase of signalling system of Testing and Commissioning
- Highly developed communication, relationship building and planning skills
- Sound understanding of contract principles
- Associate Member or above in IRSE (Institute of Railway Signal Engineers)
- Strong understanding of signalling and key system interfaces
- Experience in design, installation and commissioning stages of Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) projects.
