Jenuine Foods Global trading as Wagyu-Ya on Chevron is a full-service company that operate Japanese restaurant, retail shops that specialised in Wagyu beef and Japanese seafoods supply, located at Surfers Paradise and Southport on the Gold Coast.

We are a multi-cultural and diversified team and we are seeking a qualified and experienced Retail Shop Manager (full-time) to join us at Wagyu-Ya on Chevron (Retail division).

Job Descriptions:

- Formulating and implementing purchase and marketing policies for Wagyu beef and Japanese seafoods at our retail shops;
- Determining and setting selling prices, promotion prices and discounted prices for products such as Wagyu beef, and Japanese seafoods;
- Determining our product mix, stock levels of Wagyu beef and Japanese seafood, customer service standards, including compliance with occupational health and safety regulations;
- Involving in recruitment, training and supervising shop staff;
- Promoting our goods to customers and advising them on different grades of Wagyu beef and Japanese seafood;
- Maintaining records of stock levels of our goods;
- Maintaining records of financial transactions through MYOB and Xero;
- Attending meetings with the Director to discuss issues such as stocks, selling strategy, pricing strategy, and promoting strategy;
- Attending to meetings with shop staff, discuss issues such as roster arrangement, customers service standard, and issues that required immediate attention.

Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Retail Shop (Meat and Seafood industry) as a Manager;
- At least tertiary education, such as Certificate III, IV or Diploma in Hospitality Management;
- Excellent organisation and communication skills;
- A team focused attitude with a confident and friendly personality; and
- Be extremely reliable and punctual - flexible to work both mornings and evening or any given day/days of the week.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Point of Sale (POS) software: 3 years (preferred)
- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 3 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 3 years (preferred)

- Australia (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Surfers Paradise, QLD 4217 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Surfers Paradise, QLD 4217: Relocate before starting work (required)
