**Job description**

Our New Early Learning Centre located in Kialla is seeking and experienced Centre Manager/Nominated Supervisor to lead the new team and friendly community.

Duties include:

- Set up brand new childcare centre
- Pre-opening marketing
- Managing the day to day operations of a long day care service, in line with centre policies and procedures
- Provide leadership and guidance to all educators
- Managing all operational requirements of a service, including occupancy, wage management, rostering and budgeting costs.
- Ensure the safety & wellbeing of all stakeholders (children, educators and families, community and Approved Provider)
- Commitment to ongoing learning and self-development.
- Recruit, induct, support and mentor new educators.

To be successful in this role you must have:

- Previous experience as a Nominated Supervisor
- A Diploma in Children Services or a degree in early childhood
- A current Working with Children Check, child protection & first aid.
- The ability to be organised and ability to multi-task.
- Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and Rating and Assessment process.
- Strong understanding of the child safe standards.
- Strong communication, leadership and management skills.
- Passionate in achieving the best quality of education and care with educators and the community for children and families.
- Knowledge of CCS, ACCS, Qikkids & Educa (preferred not essential)
- Excellent written, computer and communication skills.
- Bright, friendly and energetic.
- 2 professional references.
