- **WHERE ARE WE**_

Our commercial kitchen is located in the heart of the Sydney CBD, on the corner of Clarence St and King St. There is great access to public transport (trains, buses and tramlines).

- **THE ROLE**_

We are looking for a Production Team Leader who will help oversee a team of around 20 who freshly make and assemble products like gourmet sandwiches, baguettes, salads, grazing platters and cocktail platters. There is no intensive cooking required for this position.

The role is 3am to 10:30am, Monday to Friday (no weekends) and will report to our Production Supervisor.
- Key Responsibilities_
- Recruitment of food production staff.
- Training and mentoring of food production staff to ensure recipe cards, procedures and quality standards are adhered to.
- Overseeing the production of sandwiches, wraps, baguettes, pastries, salads, grazing platters and cocktail platters.
- Minimum 2+ years of hospitality supervisory experience.
- You will be responsible for ensuring labour and COGS targets are kept within budget. If you do not have experience with this, that is fine, we will provide extensive training on this.
- Remain calm under pressure and the ability to drive a team with speedy production.
- Fastidious about cleanliness.
- Understanding of HACCP controls is preferred but not a must as we can train you on this.

It’s important that our managers are well rounded with a good understanding of how to recruit and retain people, understanding numbers including key performance indicators, and can help us maintain a great working culture. We are industry leaders in our practices and constantly evolving our process and this role is not for someone who is set in their ways or open to new ways.

You do not necessarily need experience in all these areas as we will provide training, but it’s important that you are interested in these areas of business and career progression. We are growing quickly and it's important to us that our team grows with us.
