We are currently looking for a security cleared (NV1 or higher) Systems Safety Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. We are looking for multi-skilled, flexible, hardworking people who are keen to grow their career within a leading Defence supplier.

The position is critical to providing management of a best practice Safety Management System that is compliant and conformant with Australian and ADF policies and regulations.

**What will I be doing day to day?**
- External Stakeholder engagement.
- Manage the safety cases and safety compliance.
- Ensure consistent communication and flow of information across channels within the project team.
- Research, assess and document the impact of mandatory regulatory compliance.
- Drive safety requirements.
- Identify verification methods and evidence for safety requirements.

**What sort of skills do I need?**
- Systems Safety related qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in the management and execution of System Safety Principles
- Demonstrable communication skills within an integrated workforce and engaging with stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience with:

- Engineering Management System (EMS)
- Defence Aviation Safety Regulation (DASR)
- Demonstrable system awareness of Army Aviation Aircraft
- Australian Citizenship and a minimum NV1 Security Clearance
