WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

**About the Team**

Our System Safety team enables delivery through assurance. The team portfolio currently includes assurance of complex systems in development and in-Service in the Land and Naval domains and includes Boxer Reconnaissance vehicles, through training/simulation systems. As programmes enter their next phases, the team has multiple vacancies at varying levels of experience.

**About the Role**

The **System Safety Manager** will be responsible for executing the safety assurance process which includes assuring the safety and conformance of designs and products and preparing the Safety Case for products provided by RDA.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

- Tertiary qualification in Engineering recognised by The Institute of Engineers Australia;
- Working knowledge of a broad range of safety standards including MIL-STD-882 and IEC61508;
- Previous experience working in military vehicle and/or automotive Safety Engineering or similar;
- Experience in the development/review/management of Defence Product Safety Cases and design justification; and
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
