**The Purpose**:
**Responsibilities of the role will cover the following key areas**:

- Lead a team of highly talented individuals and ensure the level of engagement across the team is maintained at a high standard.
- Execution of process improvements.
- Maintain a rapport with all key functions across AP+ and support other projects to ensure the impact to the Schemes and Applications teams are understood.
- Supporting the team in managing all the governance committees with our AP+ members.
- Meeting minute taking and reviewing external presentations.
- Conducting some of the day-to-day work during peak times and when required.
- Implement structures and processes to ensure scalability across the teams all while reducing operational risks.

**The skills & knowledge you need to have**:

- Minimum of 10 years working in the payments industry or similar financial services or consulting.
- In-depth understanding of governance committees and member structure organisations.
- Understanding and the know how to develop process improvement plans and models.
- Strong understanding of conceptual risk and control frameworks.
- A robust understanding of the domestic and/or international payment industry landscape.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess risks objectively.
- Proven track record of delivering multiple projects within the designated time frames.
