Casual Role

**About the Role**
The role of café/reception assistant involves providing a high level of customer service when preparing, presenting and selling food and beverages at the Bundoora Park Cafe. The role also may involve processing of admission fees to Bundoora Park Farm.

**Duties**
- Prepare food and beverages for sale to customers and complete cash sales
- Undertake daily cash register balancing and daily cash reconciliations
- Maintain the highest standard of quality, food presentation, hygiene and safety in food preparation and cooking areas and the café seating areas in accordance with approved standards
- Serve customers with a professional and friendly attitude and assist in maintaining a high level of customer service

**Skills & Experience**
- Food handling and presentation skills
- Cash handling and experience in the operation of a multi function point of sale cash register
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures in a café environment
