Bundoora Park Cafe is seeking an energetic and happy café/reception assistant to work with our “Front of House” Service Team in Bundoora Park, a Darebin City Council regional park. Bundoora Park Café is part of Bundoora Park Farm which is a space that brings together culture, community and the environment.

The successful applicant will be responsible for food related activities in the Bundoora Park Café and for reception/administration related activities.

**About the Role**
The role of café/reception assistant involves providing a high level of customer service when preparing, presenting and selling food and beverages at the Bundoora Park Cafe.

The role also may involve processing of admission fees to Bundoora Park Farm.
- Prepare food and beverages for sale to customers and complete cash sales
- Undertake daily cash register balancing and daily cash reconciliations
- Maintain the highest standard of quality, food presentation, hygiene and safety in food preparation and cooking areas and the café seating areas in accordance with approved standards
- Serve customers with a professional and friendly attitude and assist in maintaining a high level of customer service

**Skills & Experience**
- Food handling and presentation skills
- Cash handling and experience in the operation of a multi function point of sale cash register
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures in a café environment
