The role is responsible for motivating your team to achieve daily targets, maintaining high standards of quality, promoting a safe working environment whilst ensuring the best and most efficient service possible is provided to keep our customers happy. The **Dispatch Team Leader** main duties will include: - Picking, Packing & Dispatch of customer orders. - Managing inventory, asset and returns. - Loading and Unloading of delivery vehicles where required. - Support the Warehouse Management with the day-to-day operations and be responsible for guiding the team to be efficient in achieving business targets. - Control the Pick allocation work on the computer. - Provide line management to the team, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring issues, and ensuring KPI targets and quality standards are met. - Develop the team by focusing on individual performance and support requirements to achieve high standards, whilst fostering a culture of working safely. - Comply with ALL company policies, guidelines, directions & QA practices and ensure the team is appropriately trained on the procedures. - Work closely with the Dispatch supervisor to ensure the team is operating at optimal capacity. - Actively work with the team to pick, pack or when the workloads dictate. - Manage any site security when required. - Afternoon shift. **About you, Skills and Experience** We are looking for someone with the right attitude, ability to be adaptable, think on your feet, communicate efficiently and work well within a team. We are looking for a Dispatch Team Leader who has: - A good understanding of ERP systems. - Ability to work within a rapidly changing and diverse environment. - Prior experience as a Team Leader or similar role. - Demonstrated background in people supervision in an operational environment. - Knowledge or practical experience with Health Safety & Environment (HSE) practices and legislation - Highly developed problem-solving capability complemented by an authentic and passionate customer-centric approach. - With excellent communication skills, you build great relationships. - Forklift Licence. **_Benefits_**: - We want you to be at your best here, and we're focused on helping you do it your way.
