**The Opportunity**:
This role in Worldline Services Australia (WSA) provides operational support to both WSA and the ANZ/Worldline Joint Venture (JV) organisation in the area of first-line IT Security Operations. The role performs first-level monitoring, analysis, reporting and remediation activities relating to security incident and vulnerability management, in coordination with other first and second-level IT security teams and other technical/operational resources in Worldline locally and globally.

**Your day-to-day responsibilities include**:

- Security patch and vulnerability management activities relating to the monitoring and reporting of same, initial triage/assessment, then initiating and coordinating remediation activities by responsible technical/operational resources.
- Coordinating and driving Security Operations Centre and other Security services provided by WL global, to the local environment/infrastructure.
- Collaborating with second-line security operations on IT security compliance program activities, and then coordinating and driving local execution to meet program requirements.
- Managing Penetration Test external Vendor engagements as appropriate, during any local engagements, to drive effective vendor execution and delivery to WSA/JV requirements.
- Supporting any other WL first-line or second-line security program requirements and/or security operations lifecycle initiatives to improve security operations maturity in WSA/JV.
- Supporting Hardware Security Module administration and Key Management activities if required, as a backup operational support resource (e.g. serving as a Key Custodian, assisting with the logistics of Key Ceremonies).

**Technical skills we can’t do without**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT operations, systems engineering or similar.
- Hands-on experience with security tooling (e.g., SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners etc).
- Bachelors’ degree in IT, IT Security, Engineering or equivalent experience.

**Soft skills we can’t do without**:

- Results driven and persistent.
- Excellent analytical skills with precise attention-to-detail.
- Multicultural mindset and flexibility, able to work in an international matrixed environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English - both verbal and written.

**Skills we would like**:

- Certificate in security (e.g. CompTIA Security+,) is a strong plus.
- ITIL v3/v4 Foundations Certification.
- Knowledge of the payment industry is a plus
