We’re seeking a reliable and flexible Catering Assistant to help cover a maternity leave position until August 2025 at one of our aged care kitchens. With 13+ hours per week and a roster based on your availability, this is a great opportunity to stay working casually, build experience, and potentially secure future work at nearby sites.
Casual role | 13+ hrs/week depending on availability

Shifts may lead to ongoing work in surrounding locations

**Description**:
**The Role**:
Cater Care seeks to appoint a Catering Assistant at one of our key aged care residences in the Central Coast
**Roster**:
Various Hours 13+
**What This Role Involves**:
Assisting with food preparation
Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
Prepare and present texture modified foods
**Skills and Experiences**:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
