Reporting to Payroll Manager, you will be a payroll professional with experience in running payroll end to end in a medium-large sized organization, interpreting modern awards and EBAs, analysing the differences between the two and ensuring that all payroll processes comply with relevant laws, regulations and standards.

Your experience will also involve participation in a system project to implement a new payroll and workforce management system. You will be a team player with an ability to think independently, as well as collaborate effectively with project participants to drive the success of our team in its pursuit of compliance matters as well as system implementation projects.
- Job Duties/Essential Functions_
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Responsible for reconciliation of the pay calculation between EBA and relevant awards to ensure compliance with

awards on an ongoing basis;

- Supporting key stakeholders with the extraction and interpretation of payroll and Time & Attendance data for various

purposes, including but not limited to:

- payroll compliance with our EBA and all relevant regulations
- comparison of EBA and Award calculations
- reporting to senior management
- Assist the payroll team with end to end payrun process;
- Responsible for preparation of process and compliance documentation;
- Assisting in all activities relating to development and implementation of new systems, including but not limited to:

- Supporting the payroll manager with identification and articulation of system requirements for new systems;
- Assisting in preparation of test scripts;
- User Acceptance Testing, including preparation of test scripts
- Conduct post-implementation reviews, training and make recommendations for process improvements;
- Proactively monitor legislative changes impacting payroll and workforce management practices. Liaise with the payroll

knowledge to continuously improve our setup with a focus on compliance as well as efficiency in processes and
workflows.
- Education :_
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience/Skills:_
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience with iChris in end to end payroll operations in a dynamic large scale organization;
- Ability to read and interpret awards and EBA’s, experience in retail industry would be an advantage;
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations in Australia and New Zealand including knowledge of Awards, Agreements,

and interpretation for Payroll purposes;
- Proven experience working on payroll and T&A system implementation project;
- The ability to work on high volume administration together with building internal and external partnerships;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all internal stakeholders is critical;
- Ability to follow solutions through to completion, coupled with meticulous attention to detail;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
