About us
At the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, VCAT, our role is to provide fair, affordable justice. We do this by helping people to reach an agreement and settle their case, or we make a decision at a hearing that everyone involved must follow.
We are on a service transformation mission to become a contemporary and accessible tribunal which anticipates the diverse needs of the Victorian Community.
We are introducing agile ways of working, a new case management system and making it easier for the community to engage with us every day. As we continue to modernise the way we work, we are looking for a leader who is motivating, receptive, and ready for change.
About the role
About you
You'll be a champion of VCAT's values, working closely with the Civil Registrar, Team Leaders and Administrative Officers to navigate and solve problems. You'll be actively involved in developing and leading continuous improvement initiatives that support your team and VCAT to be successful. You're someone that thrives in a changing, fluid environment and is passionate about supporting your team to give their best.
You're a resilient leader who knows how to help their team navigate through change and is experienced in bringing a team together to achieve a common goal, especially when it comes to transitioning to agile ways of working and new technologies.
Your strong verbal and written and communication skills will be essential to allow your stakeholders and teams to understand information quickly and accurately. You will be based in our Melbourne CBD office with an option for hybrid working.
