As a General Pants Buyers Assistant, you will be dynamic, customer obsessed, have a growth mindset, and thrive in a collaborative environment. You will provide exceptional admin and category support to the Buyer across all facets of the buying process including but not limited to order raising, sample management, maintaining data, managing store allocations, and liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

You will pride yourself on attention to detail, work quickly, have an analytical mind, the ability to think outside the box and be able to combine your data analysis skills with your knowledge of our industry to drive sales within your category across stores and online.

**About the Role..**
- Coordinating the administration function for your respective category including order raising, stock allocation and system maintenance
- Assist direct Manager with editing the product mix of categories to reflect current trends and consumer target
- Support the Buyers in driving development of company exclusive and first to market products
- Keep the General Pants customer at the centre of all product decisions spending time in stores maintaining and building on your understanding of the customer, market competitors and store specific needs
- Assist the team with monthly reviews on top and bottom performing styles and report learning’s back to greater team with the aim to drive improvements in the future
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders across Buying, Design, Marketing and Operations to assist in ensuring a clear product message is translated from buy to shop floor resulting in sales conversions for the business

**About You..**
- Self-starter - driven to make a mark, leave the role bigger then when you started it
- Open to mentoring, coaching and hungry to learn from others
- Knowledge or exposure to the fashion industry and its current trends
- Experience in a similar role and a track record of maximising category growth above and beyond what was expected is a plus
- Degree, Tertiary or Fashion qualification is highly desirable
- Full Australian working rights and be Sydney based
