A fantastic opportunity to broaden your skills as an education professional and lead the VBA's Career pathway development, in this ongoing role as the Career Pathways Coordinator (Building Surveyor / Inspector)

As the Career Pathways Coordinator (Building Surveyor / Inspector) you will lead the design and implementation of VBA initiatives to strengthen building surveyor and inspector capacity within the broader sector and the VBA.

The initiatives are expected to primarily focus on increasing registered practitioners, such as leading cadet and assistant building surveyor level programs to support registration, partnering with licensing and registration to support transparent and robust registration criteria and working with external stakeholders on sector programs. However, the role will also have a focus on building surveyor and inspector career pathways post registration, including initiatives within the VBA and capability building support through education activities.

This role will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to understand and analyse the industry landscape, the challenges and the opportunities to ensure a holistic and targeted program.

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience designing, developing and implementing capacity and / or capability building initiatives, such as employment programs or materials for graduates.
- Experience in a learning & development, organisational development or human resources background managing a program or project and its facilitation.
- Understanding of and experience working within a career development framework.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise, negotiate, influence a diverse range of people
