Manage, support and mentor more junior staff within the office and assure data requests, models and briefs being produced within the team and the broader office.
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under 'Key Responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Experience and knowledge in critically analysing and visualising data using dashboards to derive clear conclusions and actionable recommendations.
Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to improve investment pipeline management, performance management, reporting and data standards and analytics, and deliver these.
Highly developed research, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, including the proven capacity to initiate appropriate strategic and operational responses to key issues affecting the investment pipeline and performance of the portfolio.
Highly developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a diplomatic approach and ability to liaise and relate to a wide range of stakeholders including senior and executive stakeholders.
Capability to work under limited supervision to manage and quantitively assess large datasets and summarise findings into easy-to
- understand conclusions and actionable recommendations.
Ability to mentor and lead more junior staff and be comfortable in a high-pace environment with several priorities with tight timeframes.
Knowledge
Experience in critically analysing datasets and portfolios/investments, and clearly briefing on findings and recommendations.
Experience in managing, analysing and visualising data with digital dashboard and analytical tools.
Training or experience in Portfolio, Programme or Project Management.
Whilst not mandatory, experience in relational databases (SQL) and Microsoft Power BI would be well regarded.
