An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant at Joondalup Health Campus you are responsible for the delivery of high quality patient care to a diverse range of patients.

We are looking for a Nursing Assistant who thrives in working within a multidisciplinary team and will be committed to upholding and promoting the Ramsay Way core values.

**Principal Responsibilities to include (but not limited to)**:

- Assists with patient care.
- **Provides support in resuscitation situations under the supervision and guidance of the Registered Nurse**:

- Assists patients with meals and/or refreshments under the direction of a Registered Nurse
- **Observes agitated or confused and wandering patients as required**:

- Assists with the presentation and maintenance of a tidy, safe environment, including the making of beds and presentation of patients’ bed areas
- Performs cleaning and restocking tasks as directed
- Promotes and adheres to Occupational Safety and Health guidelines within JHC
- Maintains effective communication and functions as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Assists with the safe transport, transfer and positioning of patients within boundaries of training and skill level.

- Recent relevant experience in an acute health care setting
- **Successful completion of Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Acute Care)**:

- Good problem solving and analytical, organisational and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Proven ability to function in a multi-disciplinary team
- **Must be able to accommodate flexible shift patterns including AM, PM and night duty shifts.**

**Requirements**:

- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
