Join our API Team as we search for a Finance Business Partner to join our Supply Chain. In this role, you will report directly to the Commercial Manager for Supply Chain and play a pivotal part in fostering the success and efficiency of API's Supply Chain business unit. For those adept at resolving intricate challenges within autonomous work contexts, this is an opportunity to steer commercial success. Your key responsibility will revolve around attaining operational cost efficiencies that hold the power to sculpt the trajectory of our business in the times to come.

**The responsibilities for this role include:
- Act as a trusted commercial advisor to the Head of Transport and Distribution Centre Managers, providing insights to the GM Supply Chain.
- Support commercial projects by maintaining financial models and assisting in business case preparation.
- Drive for commercial outcomes within the Supply Chain team, challenging for improved performance.
- Support transport tenders and secure necessary internal endorsements/approvals.
- Drive labour optimisation within our Distribution Centres.
- Produce Board-ready outputs with thoughtful analysis and robust assumptions, providing regular trade performance packs (weekly, monthly).
- Identify key drivers of business performance within the Supply Chain, focusing on Transport, to improve profitability.
- Articulate clear and concise stories to inform the Executive Leadership of business performance. Collaborate closely with the broader Commercial team for an integrated view of business performance.

- Experience aligning objectives and creating key business metrics to evaluate performance.
- Extensive finance and management accounting experience with strong technical, analytical, and financial modelling skills.
- Finance Business Partnering experience.
- Proficient in developing performance metrics, financial analysis, and financial reports.
- Ability to provide insightful financial tools and an analytical framework for better decision-making.
- Critical and objective thinker with strong cross-functional problem-solving skills.
- Experience using large ERP systems & BI tools (BPC, MicroStrategy, PowerBI advantageous). Proficiency in ERP Systems, PowerPoint packs, and automating Excel files.

**Education/Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance-related discipline. CA/CPA qualified or working towards.
