**About the Role**

In the role of Dental Assistant Team Leader, you will be responsible for is responsible for the oversight and management of Dental Assistants to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective practices that support the policies and procedures of the organisation and the achievement of Dental Centre objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Assist the Dental Manager in the management of the Dental Centre(s)
- Responsible for team resourcing and management activities for all direct reports including recruitment and selection, induction, training/learning, and performance management.
- Lead, motivate and develop team skills and professional capabilities.
- Responsible for the implementation and training of all accreditation processes and practices.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and review of Dental Centre policies.
- When required provide accurate and proficient chair side assistance to Dentists.
- Support the Sterilising Department, based on operational needs.

**About you**

You will possess a Cert III in Dental Assisting, the ability to prioritise workloads, and work effectively in a team environment, a Cert III Sterilisation and Cert IV or Diploma in Practice Management/Frontline Management is not essential but highly desirable.

You will have a strong customer focus, a positive outlook, and pride yourself on consistently exceeding patient needs. Demonstrated experience with a preferred minimum of 5 years in the Dental industry, as well as proven leadership capabilities in leading a large and diverse team.

Hepatitis B immunisation and vaccination against Covid-19 is essential.
