Dreamworld, Australia’s favourite family theme park and SkyPoint, one of the Gold Coast’s most iconic visitor attractions located atop the Q1 Building in Surfers Paradise seek to appoint suitably qualified and experienced Security Officers to join our team.

The role of a Security Officer is to provide maximum security and safety for all persons and assets within Dreamworld, WhiteWater World and SkyPoint. This includes gatehouse and front entry as well as in-park and licensed area security duties and response to emergency situations.

We seek friendly, customer orientated security professionals with a ‘can-do’ approach, who will thrive in our unique environment and be able to proactively respond to a variety of situations as they arise. To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to meet the below criteria:

- Have exceptional communication skills;
- Be approachable and outgoing;
- Have technical proficiency with using computer based systems;
- Ability to work efficiently whilst under pressure;
- Exceptional presentation standards;
- Previous Security experience is essential

In addition to the above, you must have a** current driver’s licence, first aid and CPR certificate, security licence (including unarmed, crowd controller, monitoring and cash in transit), plus a current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate**.

Flexibility for rostering purposes is required, **with weekend and late-night work and availability over peak school/public holiday periods being essential.** This is a physically demanding role, therefore a high level of energy and physical fitness are required to perform duties.
