One of the most influential brands in fashion, our client has an opening for a new Department Manager to join them at the store located at Sydney Airport.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

You are responsible for supporting the Sales and Profit goals by setting a plan for your department to deliver an exceptional customer experience in line with your store.

You ensure you have a strong team and support their development. You work with succession planning, talent and leadership development and structured performance management, based on results, values and leadership.

You work in accordance with legal requirements and the company's standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Flexibility with rostering including shifts between 6.30am-7.30pm - including weekends.
- You regularly analyse and follow up Sales & Profit KPIs for your department and together with the Visual Merchandisers you take action to maximise sales.
- Together with your store manager, you set the hours plan for your department in line with the sales budget.
- You manage the recruitment, training, development, and succession planning for your team.
- Strong team development skills with a key focus around succession planning.

ABOUT YOU
- You have at least 2 years management experience.
- You will have strong team development skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- You have management or senior sales associate experience.
- The ability to analyze figures and formulate plans to maximize sales.
- The motivation to drive ambitions and reach business & personal goals.
