Description

The Department Manager is responsible for:

  • Leading and managing the performance of your retail department to achieve sales and service goals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability aligns with customer demand.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve escalated issues promptly.
  • Train, develop, and motivate team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Manage promotional and seasonal plans for your department
  • Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve overall business objectives.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment for customers and staff.

Profile

The successful Department Manager should have:

  • Proficiency in analysing sales data and implementing improvement strategies.
