Sydney- Investment Banking- PermanentOur client is a global tier-one broker seeking a Dealers Assistant to join their Sydney team supporting their institutional equity sales trading team.

The role will be directly supporting the desk, liaising with their clients, placing trades on client behalf and providing further operational assistance to the team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with equity order execution
- Communication with dealers and/ or clients in relation to orders
- Handling all trade bookings and settlements
- Handling of all account opening procedures
- Short selling reporting
- Maintaining errors registers
- Administration of primary market activities
- Some knowledge of/ able to use CRM, Bloomberg and IRESS systems
- Other admin and reporting for the sales desk
- Have experience in working equities sales/ trading or advisory desk
- Professional
- Dynamic
- Have a good understanding of equity bookings and settlements
- Strong communication skills
- 2+ years in a similar environment.
