Are you a motivated** Year 10 student** with an interest in business? We have **School-Based Business Traineeship (SBAT) opportunity**which allows you to **complete Years 11 and 12**, **graduate with your HSC** and a **Certificate III in Business**. Trainees may have the opportunity to work alongside teams such as Community Resilience and Partnerships or Communications and Marketing, gaining firsthand experience across a variety of roles throughout their traineeship.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Answering phone calls and directing enquiries
- Greeting visitors and providing customer service
- Filing, scanning, photocopying, and data entry
- Maintaining and updating databases and records
- Providing information about council services and facilities
- Assisting with records filing systems and registering/archiving documents
- Helping ensure compliance with privacy and recordkeeping legislation
- Scheduling meetings and taking/distributing meeting minutes
- Maintaining office supplies and shadowing staff to understand council operations
- Participating in training sessions and completing tasks aligned with traineeship requirements
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
