Asset Analyst

The **Asset Analyst** will provide accurate and timely analytical and reporting support for the Asset Management team across a portfolio of assets. This role is an integral part of the Asset Management team and will work closely with the Asset Manager, Assistant Fund Manager and Fund and Portfolio Analysts.
This position reports into the head of Asset Management.
**Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- Maintaining the integrity of the asset MRI models, in particular the long-range forecasts
- Provision of full 10-year annual budget plan and regular reforecasts to the Funds Teams, ensuring accuracy of published MRI models
- Provision of financial modelling and feasibility studies as required by the Asset Manager to support recommendations, scenarios and budget assumptions.
- Preparation of asset portfolio analysis to support divestment and/or acquisition strategies.
- Modelling and analysis of asset level returns over the short, medium and longer terms
- Preparation of asset and portfolio statistics.
- Support the Asset Managers in the preparation of any reporting requirements
- Support any required internal / management reporting as required and ad-hoc analysis for key internal stakeholders including senior management
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for both internal/external parties as required

**What you will need to be successful**:

- Experience building, using and/or reviewing models
- Experience within the property sector
- Microsoft Excel skills - advanced level
- MRI and Forbury modelling software - working competency level
- Highly numerate and competent in modelling and analysis
- Strong organisation & planning skills to meet deadlines
- Advanced knowledge Cougar or similar forecasting product
- Working knowledge of Australian property fundamentals
