Join our Business Lending Line of Business as Head of Industry, Policy and Process to deliver a market leading lending experience, helping Australian businesses to succeed and grow.

**How will I Help?**

You will be part of the Business Lending leadership team, responsible for providing sustainable and competitive credit policies, processes and industry thought leadership to help Business Lending customers succeed. Facing into a period of exciting transformation and growth, you will be accountable for delivering process simplification across Business Lending for bankers and customers - to reduce Time to Decision, improve First Time Right and enable business lending growth and retention.

You will be responsible for partnering with senior stakeholders on all Business Lending matters of policy and process, developing pragmatic solutions in response to the changing economic environment and driving and enabling strategic ideas through to end-to-end implementation. Reporting to the Managing Director, Business Lending, you will lead the Business and Home Lending Specialist teams as well as a team focused on the execution and enhancement of industry credit policy strategies and processes. You will combine your experience in Business Lending with your transformation mindset to be a part of a winning team, while meeting our prudential and regulatory requirements.

**What do I need?**

You will have demonstrated experience in Business Lending that gives you a deep and instinctive understanding of the market and associated levers. An engaging people leader, you are energised by motivating and leading a high-performance team while promoting an effective risk culture. Your technical knowledge of the complexities of Business Lending policy combined with your ability to innovate and think outside the box will allow you to thrive in this role.
- Over 12 years’ experience in Banking or Financial Services, Credit Risk and Business Lending.
- Expertise in credit, policy and process execution.
- Leadership and management experience with strong commercial acumen.
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation and create persuasive messages.
- Advanced business and report writing skills.
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills, with an ability to challenge senior stakeholders across the organisation.
