**About the Role**

In response to the massive investment in infrastructure in Perth, BG&E’s Perth Civil team continues to grow and as a result we are seeking an experienced and team-oriented Civil Designer to help build and grow our Civil Engineering capability.

Our Perth business provides civil and structural engineering services, among others, for transport infrastructure projects in a wide variety of markets. Our highly skilled technical experts are driven by a passion to help clients achieve their goals and improve society for today and future generations.
- What to expect day to day_:

- Deliver model outputs to the requirements of clients, drafters and designers.
- Delivery quality and accurate model outputs under the guidance of Senior Civil Designers.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills.

**About you**
- Working knowledge and understanding of Austroads, VicRoads and Australian Standards relevant to road geometry design.
- Be passionate about learning and seek feedback to ensure professional and technical career development.
- Working understanding of civil and road engineering principles, road geometry design process and road safety considerations and requirements.
- Proficient in the use of road design software packages such as InRoads, OpenRoads, 12d and/or Civil 3D.
- Working understanding of drafting software packages such as AutoCAD and Microstation.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in the design and delivery of road and highway infrastructure projects.
