About the Role

We have an exciting Casual opportunity for a Food Service Attendant at our Collaroy Centre located in Collaroy Beach (NSW).

Reporting to the Dining Room Manager, you will be responsible for the service of dining meals, cleanliness of all catering related equipment and flatware including all dining areas, kitchen and washing areas. You will also be required to perform duties such as food preparation in line with all food safety and WHS legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Front and Back of house Food Service and Cleanliness - adhere to all cleaning, food preparation, presentation, food service procedures and standards to ensure smooth running of the back of house and dining room areas of The Collaroy Centre
- Food Preparation & Allocation - complete all preparation of food in accordance with procedures within the allocated time frame and within legislative requirements
- Team Support - participates in team activities, attends staff meetings when scheduled and demonstrates a supportive approach to other staff members, contributing to overall team effectiveness.

About You

To be successful in the role you will have:

- Previous food service experience is desired but not essential.
- Undertaken food hygiene training desired but not essential.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under conflicting time pressures.

Requirements of the role:

- A national police record check is required
- Compulsory Code of Conduct, WHS and Bullying and Harassment training modules are completed and up to date as soon as possible upon commencement.
- WHS - knowledge of work health safety obligations and to practice these in the workplace in line with TSA policy & procedures and legislation.
- Working with children check.
