**JOB: Disability Support Worker (Male)**

We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in working with individuals to provide meaningful support and care. Your primary responsibility will be to create a nurturing and safe environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Personal Care: Assist with toileting, showering, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Daily Living Tasks: Help with meal prep, cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- Social and Recreational Activities: Support outings, events, sports, and hobbies.
- Transportation: Assist with appointments and provide transportation.
- Health-Related Support: Monitor health and provide basic medical care.
- Emotional Support: Listen and create a supportive environment.
- Independent Living: Provide training in cooking, cleaning, and finance management.
- Medication: Administer or assist with medication according to policies.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records, including daily logs and incident reports.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Report health changes and document support provided.
- Collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals and participate in support planning.
- Training & Development: Contribute to team meetings and ongoing training.

Qualifications:

- Certificate III in Individual Support
- Certificate IV in Disability
- Certificate IV in Aged Care

Security & Compliance Check:

- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR certification
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Driver's License and Comprehensive Car Insurance (must)

NDIS Learning Modules:

- NDIS Worker's Orientation
- NDIS Induction
- Supporting Effective Communication
- Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals
- COVID19 Infection, Prevention, & Control
- Manual Handling

Additional Details:

- Permanent shift opportunity
- Above-market rate
- Holds a valid Driver's License with a car

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
