Our client is a leading professional services firm, providing accounting, advisory, tax, and business consulting services to clients across a range of industries. Our team in Canberra is expanding, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Officer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish and maintain project management systems and procedures
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource plans
- Monitor project progress, identify issues, and provide solutions
- Ensure project delivery is in line with quality standards and expectations
- Develop and maintain project documentation, reports, and other relevant information
- Coordinate project teams and stakeholders, and manage communications
- Participate in project reviews and audits
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of project management processes and standards

**What you'll need to succeed**

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management or related field
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a PMO or Project Manager
- Strong knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Prince2)
- Experience in managing large-scale and complex projects
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello)
