Motel is a somewhat busy 13 room motel, situated in the heart of Snowy Mountains Region.

We are looking for a motel manager who can run the business to a high standard

The people we are looking for should possess the following attributes:

- Well presented, professional, warm and friendly customer service skills
- Great administrative skills and computer competent.
- Experience with motel booking system an advantage, but training can be provided.
- Basic handyman skills
- Understand that motel management can be 24/7 and be willing to assist with late check-ins or emergencies if required.
- Non-smokers preferred but not a deal breaker

Your duties will include, but not limited to:

- Management of daily operations and performance of motel.
- Housekeeping, Laundry, Reception duties and customer enquiries, checking in guests and answering calls.
- Handling payments and financial reconciliations.
- Ensure rooms, grounds and pool are always well maintained and presented to the highest standard.
- Ordering and replenishing stock as required.
- Housekeeping by stripping rooms, Clean rooms, removing rubbish, washing dishes.
- Oversee the laundry, including washing/drying of toweling and pillow cases.
- Attend to general maintenance as required and liaise with tradesmen when necessary to ensure everything is kept in good working order

This is a live-in onsite role, an Air conditioned, one-bedroom with a Kitchen and living is provided (ground floor).

Remuneration will be $55000 - $65,000 pa - Plus super and accommodation on site or negotiable for a couple.

A hand-over period will be offered, with full training on our processes. The owners (based close by) can provide occasional relief during times of leave, and a couple of house-keeping staff are able to cover for the occasional day off.

This role is best for a Single but couple could be considered.
