As our business is growing, we are looking for a full-time Bookkeeper or Office administrator to join our dynamic team in Sydney.
Job tasks and responsibilities
You will be working in the Finance team and your role will include (but not limited to) the following tasks:
- Essential Criteria
- Proficient in the use of XERO Accounts Hosted a must.
- MS Office suite experience
- Office administration experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Self-reliant and comfortable working autonomously
- Highly Organized
Key Tasks
- Invoicing & Despatch Orders using Xero and Orderspace (B2B CRM)
- Import bills and reconcile payments to suppliers using Xero.
- Upload photos and daily maintenance of Orderspace.
- Organizing despatch of orders with couriers.
- Check & Dispute Courier's price.
- Sales Commission calculate.
- Office administrator - answering phone calls, processing orders & returns, creating credit notes
- Stocktake coordinator - plan stocktakes, organize stock count sheets, and delegate to warehouse staff. SKU & barcode creation and stock labeling (training provided)
- Bookkeeping, filing, and data entry jobs such as exporting timesheets
- Following up on Accounts receivable/debtors, issue monthly statements.
- Reporting and reconciliations
Qualifications & experience
To be considered for this role, you are required to have:
- sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals and procedures;
- at least 2 years of experience in a bookkeeper role in Australia;
- strong interpersonal and communication skills; willing to work collaboratively to achieve team goals;
- superb organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to utilize initiative, be reliable and flexible;
- excellent attention to detail, strong administrative and procedural skills;
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and accounting software Xero;
- a bachelor or higher degree in accounting or commerce or business;

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
