About the Role
Australian owned Quarry is seeking experienced OHS Advisor to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to work right across the business, covering all aspects of OHS.

The purpose of this role is to provide leadership and management and training functions across the business. In accordance with client and management instructions develop and promote a healthy and safe work environment for all.

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited)
- Ensure that all statutory and non-statutory industry requirements are implemented and complied with on all site
- Ensure systems are implemented and working effectively to identify and manage safety and environmental risks across all site
- Monitor system compliance on all site and provide feedback to management
- Ensure all operators are trained and competent in the tasks performed
- Prepare and maintain system documentation, review and revise, plans, policies and procedures
- Provide effective guidance, coaching and instruction to all site personnel on effective OHS work practices
- Perform Risk Assessments
- Maintain and foster a working environment which promotes and encourages safe and environmentally friendly work practices
- Identify training needs and develop and implement internal training programs
- Assist to identify and coordinate employee external training and development programs
- Maintain compliance registers and regularly perform employee fit for work testing
- Ensuring monthly and quarterly duties are completed in a timely manner
- Proactive management of all WorkCover claims
