Redbook Inspect is a fast-growing business providing innovative safety and inspection services, delivered both in person and digitally by a talented, highly qualified workforce. We use our own in house developed tech to drive improved safety and commercial outcomes to a range of industry sectors including ride-share, dealerships, consumer and finance.

We are currently looking for a State Operations Manager to join the team in Melbourne. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will provide support and leadership to the RBI field team. This newly created role will suit someone who enjoys working in a broad role that continues to evolve to meet the needs of the business as it grows.

This is a field based role which will require weekly visits to our fixed site locations which includes, POrt Melbourne, Tullamrine and Dandenong.

**Job Description**:
**What you’ll be doing**
- Ensure continuity of inspection schedules and continued training and development of field staff.
- Monitor daily activities to ensure that work is performed safely, efficiently and in accordance with procedures and WHS requirements.
- Be customer focused and provide customers with a great experience with our product and service.
- Engage with customers to troubleshoot any issues and to deliver positive outcomes for both customers and RBI.
- Assist the team with mobile vehicle inspections during peak periods.

**Qualifications**:
**What we are looking for?**
- Previous experience working in an operations management role.
- Knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management.
- Customer focused with well-developed communication skills and able to successfully engage at all levels.
- Extensive work experience as a qualified mechanic post apprenticeship accreditation. Ideally working with a large range of motor vehicles.
- Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes that connect you to our behaviours (we change the game, we own it, we step in, we are curious, we don’t take ourselves too seriously).
