Planner

**Planner**

We are seeking an experienced Planner (Project Planning and Scheduling) who will be supporting major projects. Reporting the Functional Lead for Planning and Scheduling this role will be required as a minimum to do the following.
- Developing project schedules using specified procedure, as well as the development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Preparing Schedule development plans and Basis of Schedule reports
- Providing support to the Project Managers, Project Engineers and Team leads in the formation of their Project schedules, using Primavera P6.
- Working with Procurement and Design personnel to obtain external information for Scheduling purposes in the form of vendor and equipment lead times and contractor services.
- Develop detailed class 5/4/3/2 Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning Schedules
- Working with Design Engineers to align deliverables with schedule
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of GHD planning procedures
- Reviewing method statements to ensure they align with the schedules

**What would you bring to the team?**
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, when collaborating closely with internal and external clients
- An unwavering focus on delivering value to GHD’s clients
- 7- 10 years’ experience in Project planning, developing Baseline schedules, Resource loading schedules and providing schedule updates and reporting in the energy and resources industry
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Primavera Risk analysis' or similar
- Ability to Resource Load schedules with hours or costs to align with CAPEX Estimates and Design estimates
- Ability to work with and establish coding structures to align estimates, schedules, and deliverables.
- Basic understanding of cost management using PRISM G2 or Ecosys or similar.
- Excellent understanding of overall project controls.
- Ability to use Power BI and other analytics tools to generate smart interactive user defined dashboards.
- Basic understanding of digital transformation, data analysis, scheduling use cases, AI scheduling tools will be an advantage but not a pre-requisite.
