An exciting new opportunity has become available for an **Assistant Planner** to join the sass & bide family in our beautiful Support Office in Alexandria.

This role would suit someone who has experience in a similar role and looking for an opportunity to develop their career with an Australia designer label

**Key responsibilities include but not limited to**:
**Planning**
- Managing the allocation of merchandise to stores based on current sales, inventory targets and trading decisions;
- Analysing sales and stock at the store level and respond to over/understocked stores. This includes consoles from store to store and understanding the different requirements of each store;
- Monitoring deliveries of product to the stores;
- Assisting the Planner in category management and driving individual categories performance;
- Driving and managing core line cards to maximise sales, whilst maintaining optimum stock levels;
- Review store gradings each season and suggest recommendations to Planner;
- Assist the planner, with the markdown strategy and aged stock strategy;
- Assisting the Planner in management of all key planning documents and ensuring all trackers are updated weekly;
- Support Planner as required

**Allocations**
- Manage the allocation plan for the season, based on current store performance/stock requirements;
- Review and propose any changes needed regarding store grading/range architecture based on in depth analysis of store performance;
- Manage the weekly replenishment of stock to stores, based on trading performance;
- Manage any stock pushes and consoles to/from stores to ensure best sales result;
- Monitor store performance and stock levels to ensure right stock, right place, right time;
- Working alongside retail teams to fulfil stock requests;
- Regular store visits and provide feedback to Planning Manager with findings and recommendations

**Reporting**
- Preparing and analysing the weekly, monthly, and seasonal trade reports to provide insights and recommendation’s to planning team;
- Analysis and assessment of store grading each season;
- Performance analysis on any new/key product categories within the business;
- Manage the seasonal size analysis and minimum buy qtys for all styles;
- Management of aged inventory reporting

**Analysis**
- Analyse sales at the store/style level to identify and action consoles to improve sales and Margin;
- Regularly carry out size analysis and make proposals;
- Regular deep dives into category performance;
- Stock planning, focusing on Aged stock and a weekly console plan to support a clean inventory position

**We are seeking the following attributes**:

- Prior experience within a similar role in fashion retail;
- Strong retail background;
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel (Intermediate Excel skills is an advantage);
- Strong analytical skills and numerical reasoning;
- Knowledge of AP21, TRS, Maplelake, Data Warehouse would be an advantage;
- High attention to detail, efficient and accurate record keeping;
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
