Directions has over 30 years' experience providing workforce development solutions to businesses through apprenticeships and traineeships, alongside career development and advice to assist jobseekers to make the best choices.

Opportunity available:
Reporting directly to the HR and Finance Manager the primary focus of the position is to provide recruitment, general human resource and administration support to the business liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful for this role you will have:

- Proven experience in all recruitment activities from advertising, screening, interviewing, coordinating pre-employment medicals and performing reference checks
- Previous experience in general human resource administration
- Understanding of Modern Awards
- Good organisational skills and experience in developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communicator to ensure your stakeholders are always informed of required activities
- Work autonomously, however still part of the Business Development, Operations and Safety team to deliver best results for our clients
- A can-do attitude, reliable and motivated to succeed
- Ability to work under pressure, think outside the box and face challenges head on
- Intermediate to Advanced usage of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Previous experience working in a Group Training Organisation or an understanding of the State Training System.
