Systems & Inventory Specialist - Gpc Asia Pacific

**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Systems & Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the inventory function within our new state-of-the-art, purpose built Distribution Centre in Broadmeadows. Your support will include providing relevant data to support this function, and assisting with managing the physical integrity of a large and diverse number of parts held at the Distribution Centre. You will also work closely with the inventory team, distribution centre leaders as well as network contacts to provide accurate and genuine customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring effective stock management, cycle counting, and replenishment processes are undertaken as well as inventory adjustments are thoroughly documented
- Investigating pick errors and shortages in a timely manner and ensuring damages are documented and disposed of appropriately
- Ensuring product locations are fully optimised as well as making sure stock is stored correctly and in accordance with site SOPs and other site requirements
- Maintaining and supporting the DC Cycle Counting program

**Systems & Reporting**:

- Maintaining relevant inventory systems and data integrity, as well as meeting targets for KPI reporting and other inventory related metrics
- Providing clear communication to all relevant personnel and Management regarding operational issues, findings, planning, and implementations
- Preparing reports for Systems & Inventory Manager and site leadership team members as required

This role will also see you responsible for ensuring Dangerous Goods storage is within the prescribed legislation parameters and in the correct storage mediums.

**About you**:

- Ability to identify problems and provide recommendations for solutions
- Previous experience using your licence to operate applicable MHE (essential)
- Experience working in an inventory function within a warehouse will be highly advantageous

As with most roles of this nature, strong interpersonal skills and great attention to detail will be required. A relevant qualification within Supply Chain / Warehousing would also be beneficial.
