With 145 design-led rooms, our vibrant **Market & Meander restaurant**, and the lively **Merrymaker rooftop bar** with sweeping views and cosmic cocktails, we’re more than just a hotel—we’re a hub of culture, food, and connection.

The secret ingredient in every single dish served in our restaurants is a pinch of hard work behind the scenes. We’re looking for a Kitchen Steward to help our chefs make every dish memorable by setting and maintaining exceptional standards in our kitchens. This is a Part time role at HIGA Level 1.

**A little taste of your day-to-day**:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

- Cleaning and sterilising countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment
- Maintaining food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators
- Receiving and organising deliveries to the kitchen
- Supporting the chefs and other kitchen staff in basic food preparation, cutting, peeling, and washing
- Removing kitchen waste and washing dirty dishes

**What we need from you**:

- Passion for delivering great service
- Previous experience in a busy Kitchen is preferable
- Willingness to learn new things and work as part of a wider hotel team
- The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 23 kg, which can also involve bending and kneeling
- The flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, nights and public holidays
- Must meet the legal requirements to work in Australia without limitations or restrictions
