Our Defence and Social Infrastructure team service the Australian Defence Force by providing strategic asset maintenance for all assets pertaining to its social infrastructures. This includes a Project Support Services team which ensures the high quality & smooth operation of our service for the ADF.

We are currently seeking a **Spatial Data Coordinator** to join our team on a permanent full-time basis, located in Melbourne.

The primary focus of this role is to ensure to ensure all project spatial data deliverables are compliant with Defence Standards/Specifications and requirements and uploaded to DEIMS.

**Other responsibilities of the role include**:

- Drive proactive, forward-reaching project enabling support services
- Ensure that spatial data and drawings meet the client’s requirements as specified in the contract through direct update or audit processes.
- Review and Upload Project Spatial Data in accordance with Defence Standards.
- Liaise effectively with Defence and collaborate with every PDS and all internal stakeholders
- Ensure that PSS information and communications technology under Ventia’s control is relevant and integrated

**Skills and experience required**:

- Tertiary qualifications in construction, design, engineering, surveying or similar.
- Previous experience working in a construction or engineering environment.
- Previous experience using AutoCAD.
- Understanding of National Construction Code and Australian Standards.
- Ability to read and comprehend architectural plans.
- High level of computer skills including Excel / Word / Outlook.
