The Adelaide Convention Centre sits proudly in the Riverbank Precinct, which is rapidly evolving to create a vibrant hub for Adelaide, incorporating new research, health and medical centres, educational institutions, sport, entertainment, convention and event facilities. A rare opportunity exists for a career minded audio visual professional to work with the best of Adelaide's business, conferencing and banqueting events.

About the role:
We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Audio Visual professional to join our team as a Technology Planner. As an experienced Technology Planner, you will join our fast-paced environment and work across our state-of-the-art venue, designing and bringing to life our clients vision. Providing technology equipment and design expertise, this role is instrumental in creating memorable experiences.

Key tasks & responsibilities include:

- Design, develop and create innovative event design concepts
- Provide clients with design ideas, specialist venue knowledge and room layout configurations
- Liaise with stakeholders to determine their technology and audio-visual requirements
- Experience in planning and delivering hybrid and virtual events
- Drive innovation by being an ‘early adopter’ of new technology to develop trusted technology solutions and systems

About you:

- Able to work autonomously while guiding others
- Specialist knowledge in Audio Visual event design
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- Positive & proactive mindset
- Efficient computer user with ability to use a wide range of software (incl. Microsoft Office, CAD / BIM Software)
- Vectorworks Spotlight experience, highly desirable
- Understanding of working in 3D computer generated environments
- Ungerboeck experience highly desirable
- Flexibility in working hours
