**The role**:
Working with the Group Manager Business and Customer Change, this twelve-month maximum-term Change Manager role will be primarily focussed on the delivery of South East Water's new and innovative Smart Sewer program and will be responsible for leading organisational change, business engagement, communications and training for the Digital & Transformation (D&T) Group, which aims to drive transformational change across the business.
Calling upon your strong ability to build trusted partnerships with leaders and operational teams across the business, some of the main accountabilities for the role will include;
- Developing and implementing organisational change management strategies and plans, including the coordination of all project change activities, resources, equipment and information.
- Providing coaching to leaders in helping them fulfil their roles as change champions and advocates.
- Providing direct support and coaching to frontline managers and supervisors as they lead their staff through the transformation.
- Identifying potential risks associated with the change and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensuring change readiness; tracking and measuring effectiveness by utilising a range of change assessment and evaluation tools and metrics.
- Collaborating with the Group Manager Business and Customer Change on engagement and communications plans, ensuring alignment with other D&T projects and streamlining engagement activities.
**Who are you?**:
An experienced Change Manager with a minimum of five (5) years' experience successfully implementing key cross-functional business projects, you'll be proficient in employing change methodologies, such as prosci ADKAR and possess superior engagement and communication skills to facilitate and present.
The following key skills and experience combined with a natural curiousity will ensure you succeed in this role and contribute to a smooth transition for South East Water:
- Ability to identify behavioural barriers to change acceptance and offer innovative and pragmatic solutions that align with the organisation’s culture.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to assess change impact, interpret qualitative and quantitative feedback and translate change metrics into actionable insights.
- Skilled at managing multiple change initiatives, effectively managing your time and key stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Effective stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels in an organisation.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable messages for different audiences.
- Experience managing change in a hybrid work environment and supporting technical implementations in remote or distributed teams.
- Experience contributing to or leading operating model design would be advantageous.
