**Clinical Specialist - Family Worker - Early Psychosis**
- Ongoing part-time role | Based at Sunshine / Melton / Werribee
- Excellent opportunity for a family work clinician looking to progress their career

**Your new role**
- A multidisciplinary role open to Grade 5 Registered Psychiatric Nurses and Grade 4 Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Psychologists._ In this role you will:

- Deliver evidence-based care, both as an individual and building the capacity of a team
- Develop and support the delivery of innovative, recovery-focused, evidence-based interventions within the clinical program and within the family-work space
- Provide clinical leadership, management, training and supervision across the multidisciplinary team
- Undertake relevant, time-limited project work that enables significant model and practice development
- Collaborate with other clinicians to provide evidence-based, youth-friendly, family-inclusive interventions, including family support, family counselling, mediation and psychoeducation to young people and their families/carers
- Provide inclusive and sensitive practice to young people and their families/carers from Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander, CALD and LGBTQIA backgrounds

**Your new team**
- Orygen Specialist Program provides mental health services to young people aged 15-25 and their families/carers in Melbourne's northwest and western suburbs.
- Our Early Psychosis team provides evidence-based interventions to young people experiencing or are at risk of experiencing psychosis and are in the critical early stage of illness to reduce the impact of symptoms and support psychosocial recovery.

**About You**:

- Relevant registration and qualifications - including training in family/systems therapy (required)
- Knowledge of and training in family-based approaches to mental health including the Single Session Family Consultation Framework
- Significant experience in clinical practice within the mental health field, preferably with young people experiencing complex mental health disorders
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, consumers and families/carers
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills and the capacity to adapt to the changing needs of an evolving service
